What does “GMO” mean? Why do we need to worry about buying “organic” foods? What is the big deal? There is so much information out there about this topic that it is really hard not to have heard of any of this, but, if you are anything like how I was, four or five years ago, I had no idea what any of this meant. Honestly, I didn’t eat to hear about it. It was definitely a “head in the sand” topic for me. I just seemed like so much work to read labels and do research and blah, blah, blah…. Exhausting. Besides, wasn’t this just a passing craze, anyway?

What do you know about horses carrying twins? I have always known that it is something that horse people and veterinarians really try to avoid, but since I have never personally experienced it, I really didn’t know all that much about it. Well, nothing like jumping into something with both feet, huh? The best way to learn is through doing it, although personally experiencing this with one of my horses is definitely not how I would have chosen to learn this lesson. Turns out that only 1 on 10,000 multiple birth pregnancies end positively. This is not a good number, however, I have studied and researched just how to beat those odds…here’s what I have found.
